
Our Logo & Chester
Everyone knows Celeste from our logo. But not many people have ever looked closely at the date '1976' at the top of the logo. Yes, the date signifies the date we were established and if you look at the number "9", you can see 2 little eyes peaking out to see what's going on...
For years, hidding from view (well almost) right there in plain sight in Cheeser's Palace Café logo, the tiny, whiskered face peeking out from behind the lettering. That was Chester, the little mouse with a big love for cheese—and an even bigger dream of helping in the kitchen as a chef!
Well now he's making his debut and eager to help Amanda! Check out how they met below.


Chester the CheeseMouse Chef
Chester grew up in the warm, bustling kitchen of Cheeser's Palace Café. From the very first day, he was enchanted by the smells of fresh-baked cakes, the laughter of guests, and the magic of Chef Amanda’s creations. But Chester was shy. He worried that being “just a little mouse” meant no one would take him seriously as a chef. So he stayed hidden, quietly nibbling cheese scraps and taking careful notes on Amanda’s recipes from his secret corner.
Over time, Chester’s confidence grew. He started practicing his own baking at night, whisking batter with a wooden spoon twice his size and taste-testing cakes until his whiskers were dusted with powdered sugar. His favorite was a creamy cheesecake (of course).
One day, Amanda caught Chester carefully balancing on a stack of flour bags, piping frosting onto a cake with incredible precision. Instead of shooing him away, she smiled.
“Chester,” she said, “you’ve been here all along, learning, helping, dreaming. It’s time for you to step out of the logo and into the kitchen with me.”
And so, Chester finally found his courage. He dusted the flour off his chef’s hat, stepped into the spotlight, and took his place as the café’s tiniest—but most enthusiastic—chef.
Now that he’s no longer hiding, Chester is:

Helping Chef Amanda in the kitchen—especially with frosting cakes, tasting recipes, and making sure there’s always enough cheese in the mix.

Welcoming guests with a squeak and a smile, reminding everyone that food is best served with joy (and maybe a little mischief).

Creating new treats that combine his two favorite things: cheese and sweets. Rumor has it a new “Chester’s Cheesecake” is coming soon.

Sharing stories and tips on the café’s social media, bringing fans behind the scenes of his culinary adventures.
Chester may be small, but his heart (and appetite) is big. And from now on, he’ll be right up front—sharing his love of food, fun, and family with everyone who visits Cheeser's Palace Café.
